Lu'arn

Lu'arn
Created by IDJA Dance Theatre, Lu’arn is contemporary dance, ritual and puppetry inspired by a traditional Boon Wurrung (Melbourne language group) story, as told by Senior Elder, Aunty Carolyn Briggs. It sings the journey of Lu’arn, an important figure in the Boon Wurrung culture as the first initiate and instructor of Men’s Lore. Lu’arn will be in creative development throughout 2011 and will premiere in Melbourne in February 2012. Little Wing is designing and making puppets for the production.

Dreamtime @ the 'G

Dreamtime @ the 'G
Dreamtime at the 'G is an annual event at Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) which recognises the significant role the Indigenous community has played in shaping Australian Football. In 2010 Theatre maker Margie Mackay directed a large scale puppetry event before the game, with each puppet depicting an animal of significance to the different states that play AFL. Jenny Ellis created an nine metre wide eagle which represented the Victorian creator spirit "Bunjil".

Singapore Noise Festival

Singapore Noise Festival
"You take my breath away" by Blind Meets Mute and "Down The Rabbit Hole" by Celina Foo were two music videos produced, designed and co-directed by Stephen Mushin. Both were commissioned by the Singapore Noise Festival, an annual youth arts event, for the Singapore 2010 Youth Olympics. Jenny Ellis worked as a part of team of artists who performed and made puppets for the music clips.
